Today we featured the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Randall Swiggum, in a program that paid tribute to Abraham Lincoln. Maestro Swiggum was named the 2008 Illinois Youth Conductor of the Year by the Illinois Council of Orchestras.
